Knights Inn Orillia

Location was good.

Staff were not available at all times. Fire alarm went off at 5am, twice. Thin walls or loud guests next door? Could not leave by front entrance in the morning.

The location was easy to get to. If you just want a place to sleep it was ok

How the cars were plowed in by the snow. The rooms are dated, not the cleanest, found someone’s make up between the bed and night stand. Dusty on the ceiling and behind the couch the table in the room was wobbly , tv s are dated no smart tvs . Only staff seen was at check in check out . The room wasn’t touched while out. People were smoking pot in the rooms could smell it in the hallways. Found the bed was not very comfortable the pillows cheap. Wasn’t told about the breakfast or where to go no sign saying they had one but it was in the listing. At the front when we drove up someone’s car was parked there at the door had to walk around it to check in. Was parked there all weekend . They also seem to rent U-Haul trucks from this location as there were a couple of vans parked along side the building, buried in with snow. No vending machines, ice maker no pool no hot tub zero amenities. No coffee machine maker in the room. You have to drive to go get any food .

The morrning breakfast needs to improve, coffee was horrible, bread stale, no peanut butter only jam.
