"Mold in the bathroom.."

The beds seemed very clean which was about the best part of our experience. The person at the front desk was a bit pushy with signing some new release they had highlighting substance use. This made us question if we could even have a beer or mixed drinks in the hotel. Overall not a great start as we were tired and ready to relax in our room and are used to having a beverage or two on vacation. Which was supposedly ok… The room itself wasn’t the cleanest and we didn’t even want to use the bathroom as it had mold around the upper parts of the wall paper near the ceiling. Definitely not worth the cost of the hotel room for the night… Breakfast was a bit bland and most of the food wasn’t very warm. Did not like the lack of individual milk containers. Overall it’s a dated hotel that needs serious upgrading. Definitely not a fan of holiday inn expresses after this experience.

This hotel was a little distance away from Glenwood Springs but It was ok. The hotel itself was fine. The rooms were good. The pool was good. Kids liked it. The Jacuzzi was fine. A little too hot. Good location. right next to the river. Breakfast options were good. Good food. Overall it was safe and clean.
