Hyatt Place Fairbanks

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Check in and check out went smooth. Breakfast had alot of options. Our room was missing the TV remote and handsoap. The staff replaced the remote and offered a substition to the handsoap because they had run out after a delay in shipping. My only complaint was the horrific mattress. It was over $300 a night for the room and it was impossible to sleep. We tried sleeping multiple directions on the mattress but it was all horrible. My husband finally found a spot comfortable enough to fall asleep and I took a nap on the couch. When you stood back and looked at the mattress you could see how bad it was with a huge dip in the middle. Our son had the room next door and didn't have any of the issues we did and said that the mattress was fine in his room.

The hotel rooms facing the freeway was too noisy .. had to use ear plugs while sleeping

Check in and out was a breeze. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again! I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fairbanks Alaska!

The only thing I didn’t like was there’s no vending machines for snacks or drinks Have to purchase this ridiculously expensive bottled water for $6 Coz we’re not rewards members Also we were still charged for no show for first night even though I called prior to arrival to tell them we are not arriving till after three in the. Morning The reservationist said they will flag it The front desk agent knew it and was expecting us to arrive really late I have to be on hold with front desk clerk on checkout day while she has to resolve that issue Now we are still waiting for our security deposit refunded to our cc And we’ve been out for two days now

Find somewhere else to stay, this is not worth the money. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. No sports channels, I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is the only one with no ESPN. Coffee only included if you get it during breakfast hours otherwise you have to pay. I called down to desk to ask about a microwave and front desk said I could just use the microwave in lobby. The next morning when I was going downstairs with my items to make oatmeal a housekeeper offered me a microwave and couldn’t believe Front desk told me to use the lobby one. The hotel floors were super loud so you could hear people running around upstairs at all hours of the night.

Nice clean hotel, great location and free shuttle. The free shuttle is greatly appreciated, especially when landing at the airport at 1am. The staff were friendly and provided great information. The rooms were spacious, clean and functional. I appreciate a hotel that provides both shampoo and conditioner. The makeup removal clothes were a nice touch!

Hotel seems new and the staff was friendly. It’s in the same parking lot as a bunch of stores and it seems to be in a good area.

Dirty towels and rubbish left in bathroom.

Nice hotel. Close to nearby shopping and grocery stores. The place is clean and modern. Staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend for families or business. Great location

Great location and was very easy to get around town with our rental car. Breakfast was great and could always find a table.
