Very clean, large variety for breakfast and very helpful staff.

The luggage carts could use some repairs or upgrades but a small thing.

Breakfast was delicious. There was quite an array of things to choose from.

It was a little spendy but worth it. I would definitely stay there again and suggest it to others.

The Staybridge is a wonderful hotel. The breakfast, while it doesn't totally escape the "everything must taste like sugar!!" pitfall of hotel breakfasts everywhere, was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Among the usual items like waffles and scones, there were six kinds of fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, cottage cheese, and oatmeal with toppings. I was so impressed! The hot items were also a step above what you usually get, especially the bacon (it wasn't soggy!) Of course where you sleep is even more important than what you eat, and here too the Staybridge did not disappoint. The rooms were well-appointed and clean, with comfortable beds and a kitchenette stocked with dishes, pots and pans, dishwasher, etc. "It's like we're staying in a little house!" my kids exclaimed. Amenity-wise, there's a lot: pool, hot tub, billiard room, business center, fitness room, laundry (machines are free but soap is $1), and half basketball court. All of these are modestly sized but clean and functional. There are also free hot drinks and pop all day. You could spend a lot of time here without getting bored (or thirsty.) Finally, the service is exceptional. Everyone is friendly and helpful. When I called the front desk about an accident which had happened in our room, with full expectation of needing to clean it up myself and pay for the damage, I was simply told not to worry about it. I couldn't believe it. Next time I'm in Missoula I will definitely consider staying here again. (Accident-free this time!)

I have three small gripes: 1) Where are all the clocks?! There are no clocks in the room (unless you count the microwave in the kitchenette), the breakfast room, the laundry room, or any of the other rooms except the receptionist's desk and the pool, as far as I could tell. It's like the hotel exists in a timeless void. It's very disconcerting, especially when waking up in the dark or wondering how much time is left before breakfast closes. I was able to use my phone as a timekeeping device, of course, but who wants to drag their phone down to breakfast just to tell the time? (Even in the room the phone is less than practical if sharing a bed, as only one side of the bed has access to the nightstand. A little clock with glowing numbers would have been such a help!) 2) The bathroom soap is in a dispenser anchored to the wall by the sink. The height is fine for adults but too high for younger kids who want to wash their hands. Providing either bar soap or a stool would solve this issue. 3) Very minor gripe, but why, when you have all the artwork from every country and time period available, would you choose to decorate with close up pictures of wood grain, metal, stone, and what I think is tree fungus? o_0
