The Village Resort

Loved this property. The room was absolutely fabulous. The service was fantastic. The staff was great. We had our laundry done here for inexpensive. the pool was fantastic. My only complaint is none of the food was good. It wasn’t authentic and even the Thai tea seems like it was made from a pre-done mix.

Fantastic place to stay and highly recommend for friends and family. We visited here twice 5 years ago but going back we recognise that the place has not been maintained. So they need to be careful as things are getting shabby. The spa was closed too. Breakfast - we’ve had better. So yeah it’s losing its sparkle now

Amazing resort, close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Staff were amazing here they went out of their way. Our flight was delayed, changed our airport pick up and had 12pm check out. One of our group was sick, they organised a dr so quickly. Cooking school is a must, the chefs were really good. Pool super clean. Pancake and Thip were always their smiling every morning. Walking distance to the beach. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Nice location, we had a poolside suite/bungalow, the room was large and quite nice although a little dated. The breakfast staff were friendly, however after check in the lobby staff didn’t want to know you. They hide on their phones behind a Perspex cluttered screen, very poor wifi did not allow streaming on the in room tv. This was raised on 5 occasions with lobby staff and was told “Yes, we fix” or “yes, we send technician now” repeatedly returned to our room and waited and nothing happened. Gave up after day 2, and was then ignored by staff from then on. Booked and paid for 5 and due to flight reschedule could only stay for 4, asked but any discount refused. Pool bar beer and cocktails are dearer than we saw anywhere else we have stayed. Lots of rules for guests, states no outside visitors in room, asked if we could could have friends staying nearby visit us our room and was told no. Then see Russian guys escorting bar girls off the premises at breakfast ! Used spa for 20 mins above pool and then they turn it off when your in it, when asked to Turn it back on told “6.00 pm finish ?” For no apparent reason other than it’s a rule.

The property was nice, very comfortable rooms and the pool area delightful. Only setback was that the spa was closed during our whole stay.. we chose this place because it had an onsite spa and had planned to get some spa treatments. Unfortunately we could not, would have been nice to know before we made booking. Other than that we did enjoy our stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely excellent Resort with beautiful grounds, pool, service, villas and quiet location. Located in quieter part of Karon with all the necessary facilities nearby, minimarts, restaurants, money exchange, 7eleven, beach 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend the villas are extremely large and beautiful!

A fantastic place to stay. Location close to beach access was fantastic and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff were exceptional, kind, respectful and all around helpful with any request.

3rd visit it's like going home it's not a hotel it's like being part of the family.best place I've stayed in and this is my 56th visit to thailand the manager is a top guy his staff are the nicest people you will ever meet it truly is a paradise on earth my whole family wish to thank you so much .please look after our tree the singa tower planted by the astin family uk.we will see you all again next year stay safe we miss you.stephen astin and family

The property was great the staff are excellent but the access into Karon itself needs updating and fixing to make safe. The walkway is broken with stretches of just sand from pavers that have been taken up.
