Tamarack Resort

We went while it was off season and for a wedding. The place was peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable. Wished some of the shops were open longer but still fun to walk around and fun places to eat at nesr the resort.

As an Idahoan, I had high hopes for Tamarack. The potential for this resort is huge but the execution in service and amenities is lacking per the price point. For a similar price, I could stay at the Shore Lodge in McCall or in Sun Valley and I get a lot more for my money. For instance, the toilet paper roll holder was broken off from the wall, I called the front desk and they promised to send someone from maintenance up to fix it - that never happened. Also, there are very few options to eat at the resort, we couldn’t find anywhere to eat breakfast on Sunday morning. The only thing that was open at 8 am was the coffee shop and they only had cinnamon rolls and croissants, no eggs, yogurts, juice, or anything that one would normally expect to have at a resort of this scale. I’ll wait until Tamarack has more development/investment before I stay there again.

Rented a 2 bedroom unit from Tamarack Resort right in the Village. Accommodations were top notch, beautifully decorated, laundry in unit so convenient and underground garage parking. Right downstairs is the village with restaurants, bar, shopping and spa. Would Love to visit again in the summer to do summer activities. Definitely will return! Tamarack staff is so helpful and service amazing. Highly recommend

What a wonderful discovery we made here in the mountains!! The rooms are appointed with the most amazing amenities. I think they offer more kitchen utensils than I have in my home. The fireplace is set up to warm the whole room in a way that makes it more comfortable than a heater could. The whole resort is kept surprisingly clean (from rooms to restaurants and underground garage) and it's filled with cheerful staff members. When you get here, I recommend waking up early enough to grab some coffee and breakfast at the Cafe then watch the sunrise over Lake Cascade. Enjoy a few scenic, well-groomed runs down the mountain and ski right into the Village where you can have lunch in all types of restaurants. We ate at Triple B or Crusty's for lunch and Reserve or Seven Devils for dinner. Each visit was better than the last. The menu options covered all cravings and the servers accommodated any request. They have a Market that sells all the amenities you didn't know you needed. Once we bought a pizza to bake in the room. Not only did it fluff up nicely, it made the whole room smell like an Italian bistro. We enjoyed taking the Tamarack shuttle from the airport so that we could enjoy the impressive views of nature and hear about local history along the drive. We'll be back here every season from now on!!

Prices have gone up for lodging, but snow was great and ticket prices are still a bargain, especially in the early spring when the lines are short. The resort has come a long way in the past 10 years.

Tamarack resort and ski lifts are very well run by all the workers. Ski conditions were fantastic with about 4-6" of fresh powder. We always enjoy skiing at Tamarack, whether it be for a single day or an entire week.

We love the skiing at Tamarack. It is a great resort w awesome food and drinks too. It is a very beautiful area of the country and a great resort with a nice base area. We always have a good time at this resort.

Great vacation. We ski every year and loved loved Tamarack. Great runs. Amazing lodging. We stayed in a ski in ski out home and had friends in resort and it was amazing anywhere one stayed. You’ll love this winter wonderland. Take your significant other, family with kids or teens or just friends!

The lodging at Tamarack is second to none. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo that was in the middle of the village, which made for a very short walk to the lifts, ski valet, and restaurants. The condo was large, comfortable, new, and beautifully decorated. The unit contained a large kitchen for hosting, and a great room for gathering. It will be hard to visit another resort when we've been spoiled at Tamarack.

Beautiful property, It would have been nice if it were fully open, but due to COVID, I don't feel we got the full experience. But we did enjoy the perks included with our stay like the chairlift ride and use of kayaks. This place will be amazing once it's more completed. I loved it.
