The location is good if you want to be super close to the old centre of Madrid. The air conditioning functioned properly even during a heat wave, and the room was not loud. Very comfortable bed and all suitable amenities (kettle, clothes iron, toiletries etc) were readily available.

In my girlfriend’s opinion, cleaning must be improved. She reported issues found in the room to the reception, they said they will remediate them and the next day, not much was improved. They change the towels each day and make the bed. On the good side, the bed was clean. However, multiple areas of the room were visibly dirty to the point that they needed proper cleaning, as wiping them would not be enough.

Location is perfect, the main attractions are in walking distance from Plaza Mayor. The room was clean and the breakfast was also good with lots of options. The airport is 35-45 minutes away by the underground from Puerta del Sol.

The only thing that we didn’t like was there was a rattling noise coming from the Air Conditioning vent.
