What I loved most about the property was how peaceful and beautiful it was. The surroundings were serene, with a calm atmosphere that instantly made me feel relaxed. The setting felt like a hidden gem—quiet, scenic, and perfect for a getaway.

The only thing I felt could be improved was the availability of certain amenities. For example, having an iron available would have made things a lot more convenient. It’s a small detail, but it would’ve definitely added to the overall comfort of the stay.

The Village Inn was THE place to stay in town, located close to the adventure tours and a couple restaurants. The grounds themselves is like a village in itself, and it has a ton of charm. The room was very comfortable and I loved the bathtub for a soak after our ziplining. The restaurant was very nice and food was yum.

We arrived here as part of a group, on tour, on the garden route. We were sceptical due to the 3 star rating but omg it was amazing!!! Absolutely loved it here. People are lovely, rooms are lovely. The whole vibe is amazing. I wish we had spent more than one night here. Food is also lovely and big portions

Position is excellent. I used to stay at the original hotel in the 1970’s with my parents on route to Plettenberg bay for holidays.

The back rooms are very small, the ones facing the big garden look much better. It cost the same price as the 5star Boardwalk hotel we had just left, I was expecting something more than a tiny back rooms.
