Honest Budapest by Chic & Basic

Everything was spotless from the room to the bathroom to reception. Bed very comfortable, wish I could have taken the pillows home with me. Best I’ve ever slept in a hotel. Room was quiet, could only hear other people when they were in the hallway. Staff were welcoming and always acknowledged you when you walked by reception.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not good. The pastries were great, but if that’s what you want, the Lidl round the corner I cheaper. The ‘hot breakfast’ was always cold and over the 3 mornings (had breakfast around 9am so half way through the time slot) we only got the option of hot dogs and scrambled egg. Both were cold. We wish we went to Lidl instead and saved money. The last thing we found annoying was that when we were trying to watch tv, other people’s tv remotes was controlling our tv, turning the volume down, changing the channel, and turning it on and off. Our remote only worked periodically and we think our remote was controlling other people’s TV’s too. We did just find it funny but it was also a bit annoying.

The included breakfast was very convenient, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were so comfy and clean. Totally worth the price. Furthermore, this was our first time in Budapest, and they made our stay great and contributed so much to the amazing time we had in Budapest. We are really looking forward to coming back again. P.S. Free cake on Thursdays was great!

We got a room that was facing the street and was a bit noisy. So perhaps try to ask for a quieter room.

Very central to public transport. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Quiet. Safe.

Zeer goede ligging. Goede kamer met goede bedden. Heel vriendelijk personeel, vooral Jocelyne en Bibo. Uitstekend ontbijt.

Kamer klein maar alles is.

La habitación, sin ser grande, estaba muy bien y creo que era mas que suficiente. El desayuno, variado y perfecto. Está ubicado en el barrio judío, a pocos pasos del Cafe New York y cerca de transportes como metro, tranvía y autobús. Es un sitio perfecto para conocer Budapest. El Sr. Antonio Montoro, Abi (en recepción) y Yoselin (en la zona del desayuno)...SUPERRRRRR AMABLES!!! Pendientes a cualquier cosa que nos hiciera falta y a nuestra disposición con una sonrisa y gran amabilidad. GRACIAS SIEMPRE

Quizás el carácter agrio de alguna trabajadora, que descuidan no sólo el trato al cliente (sólo, un poquito de cordialidad) y el trabajo que ejercen

Erinomainen aamiainen. Keskeinen sijainti lähellä kaikkea.

Staff were exceptional. Really friendly and always happy to help. Location was perfect - easy to walk to attractions, bars and restaurants. Room cleaned every day to a good standard.

Rooms were small, but that's it.
