Protur Biomar Sensatori

Arrived to be greeted by a welcoming member of staff and cold glass of Cava. The room was perfect and the pool was lovely with a built in jacuzzi.

We usually stay in adult only hotels, but they can feel a bit 'old' sometimes. This had a good mix - wonderful adults only pool which was very chilled but still saw a mix of ages at breakfast and around the site. The pool area was gorgeousl. Lovely not to have to worry about getting beds - we always got them and mostly in lovely positions too. Others always became available during the day. Swim up bar is great - expensive, yes, but what would you expect. Sunbeds were some of the nest we've had - just the right amount of padding! No booming music - nice sound of water mainly, when the jacuzzi and showers started.

Very nice adult only pool area, but difficult to find a lounger unless you threw a towel on it at breakfast to 'reserve'. The hotel adjoined another Protur hotel, so it felt like a sprawling complex rather than a 5 star oasis. The rooms were ok, very clean....but the building block itself was sparse and lacked any real character. Breakfast was very good. We opted for half-board buffet which provided a good range of options, but was fairly bland and suffered from that perennial problem associated with all buffets...barely warm food. The SPA area was good, but again a little bland. So all-in-all a good hotel but don't expect a true 5 star experience!

Great hotel & facilities, excellent service. Quiet and peaceful, very relaxing, so perfect for a weekend break. In a busy tourist neighbourhood, so stay onsite for maximum relaxation, or venture out for party-time!

Clean crisp modern and very cool. Total relaxation in beautiful grounds with flowers and birds. Staff faultless, food delicious. Reasonable drinks prices, great selection. Totally pampered after 4 days here - go!!

This hotel was morre of an all inclusive hotel, great if you are using only their facilities, but not so great if you are interested in going to other restaurants or looking for something to do off of their property. No information was given about the surrounding area, and the staff was not overly helpful or friendly. Upon arrival we were told that men needed to wear long pants in the bars and restaurants on their property. It would have helped had they let us know before arrival. Not a five star property !

WE ARE A COUPLE THIS WAS OUR SECOND VISIT, THIS TIME THE HOTEL WAS FULL AND A CONFERENCE WAS HAPPENING.PAUL MITCHELL SOME HAIRDRESSER? BUT STILL ENJOYED AS MUCH.NOT A FANTASTIC RESORT,BUT QUIET ESPECIALLY GOOD IF YOU WANT TO CHILL OUT.TWO GREAT POOLS ONE FOR ADULTS ONLY. MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT 3 MINS WALK AWAY.OPTIONS AT HOTEL TO TRY THEIR 4 A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS AT A SMALL SURCHARGE. FAMILIES LIKE THIS HOTEL AS WELL, BUT THE HOTEL SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO CATER FOR COUPLES AND FAMILIES WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

Overall I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the Biomar Gran. The service was excellent, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The junior suite accommodation was excellent and very quiet. The hotel was fully booked but it is so spacious that it never appeared busy. There were always sunbeds available and the dining rooms were never crowded. I was travelling alone and opted to have dinner and breakfast at times in my room. However, when I did go to the buffet service I was very impressed. The tables are well laid out and I didn't feel awkward dining alone. I had booked bed and breakfast but at check out I was told that because I had opted to take breakfast in my room most mornings I would be double charged for breakfast and also had to pay a room service charge. I knew about the room service charge but having to pay twice for the breakfast did come as a surprise. I also had charges on my bill that were not mine. However, the member of staff on reception agreed to cancel the second breakfast charge, he agreed it was not acceptable to pay twice for one meal and he removed the other charges made in error. It was all sorted very quickly and without quibble. If returning, and I am hoping to do so next year, I would be happy to dine at the buffet restaurant and would keep a closer eye on room charges, other than that I had a perfect break in a great hotel and look forward to visiting the Biomar again. ps the buffet food is better than the a la carte

This hotel was amazing. Breakfast was spectacular, rooms are large and modern. Bathroom is clean and luxurious. You also get to use the SPA water circuit for free. Hotel staff is very helpful. I would love to stay here again.
