Best Western Plus Edmundston

The location of the hotel was what we were looking for. The hotel and the room itself were very clean. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable.

The reason I’m giving this hotel a poor rating is due to a multitude of things that we did not like. Although the front desk staff were friendly, they did not seem to be able to communicate well in either French or English which made communication a bit awkward.. When we got to our room our phone was not working. Normally, that would not be a big deal, but the Wi-Fi password was not written on the room key holder so I had to go down to the front lobby (from the fourth floor) to obtain it. When we attempted to join the Wi-Fi, we saw that it was unsecure. That might not be a factor for many but it was for us. There is a note in the elevator that says ‘quiet time is from 10 PM to 7 AM.’ At about 11:15 we we’re woken up suddenly from our sleep by five preteen girls running up and down the hallway unsupervised. Although not the hotels fault it was frustrating and maybe those note should be put on each room door. I returned to the front desk to advise the staff, but I’m unaware of anything was ever addressed. Finally they included. breakfast was very boring. I chose a cheese omelet and home fries and neither had any flavour whatsoever. As a Best Western member I disappointed in our stay.

All the little led pilot lights on switches for the fancy lights keep the room pretty bright. You definitely won't need any night lights
