Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City - Centro Historico

There is charm in staying in a hotel that has some history. This is clearly a building that has been around a while, and while it may not have all the perks of a newly built hotel palace, it is well-kept and has modern appliances and furnishings. The location is super-convenient to the attractions of the historic center if that is part of the reason for your trip to Mexico City.

Lobby is cramped. Breakfast is inedible: shredded meat with bones, chicken nuggets, scrambled eggs in pebbles, stale cereal, half hamburgers, cold fries, beans. Fruit and bread selections are minimal. Coffee is gross. Upside: the relative price, friendly staff. Don’t eat in either of the two associated chain restaurants. Both were terrible. Plenty of restaurants close by. There’s an incredible bakery across the street. Don’t stay in room 501. It looks out to the rooftop seating area, so you can’t open your drapes. We asked to move and were accommodated. The outside seating area looks nothing like the pics. No outside windows in most rooms - they look into the inner part of the hotel. No mini fridge.

Atendimento e simpatia dos funcionários.

Café da manhã razoável, mas o café (bebida), era horrível, frio, fraco e de péssimo paladar. O restaurante anexo ao Hotel, fraco também. O espaço do café da manhã não é confortável, frio e exposto. Sistema de limpeza confuso e ineficiente, faltou espaço para sentar em algumas ocasiões. Frigobar do apartamento não funciona. Microondas mau-funcionamento também. Problemas de ventilação e maus cheiro no apartamento.
