Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City - Centro Historico

The hotel is located in the historic site. It is a 10 minute walk in the zocalo square , where you can see the Cathedral and the National palace. Our room was clean and nice.

The shower floor does not drain properly when taking a shower. There is something wrong with “leveling” of the floor. The breakfast can be improved.

We arrived quite late at night and the porter Martin crossed the very busy road to carry our bags without being prompted. Zuma on reception equally helpful and welcoming. We only stayed one night as planned. The room smelt damp kinda unaired. The bed was comfortable and bed linen very clean. In the morning I noticed how the bed base was dreadfully stained and plastic packet behind it was not cleared away. Similar in the bathroom there were used tooth picks down beside the sink and the wall at floor level: poor cleaning. The toilet cistern had a crack and if the flush was not manually repositioned, it just continually ran water. The breakfast was ok. The area at night was not safe. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The price was very reasonable and the above describes why.

It is a neat and clean hotel with friendly employees. The food is good. Since it is located in the downtown area it is super safe and you find cops in every corner. I'm glad I pick this hotel for my vacations. All kinds of food, stores, attractions, and friendly people in the area.

Gotel was conveniently located within walking distance to everything, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
