Monte Santo Resort

Sossego, spa, área exterior muito agradável, quartos super confortáveis e apartamento espaçoso.

Apesar de ser época baixa, estava à espera de buffet de pequeno almoço mais completo.

Very comfortable houses, clean and big enough. The location is nice, quiet and safe. Facilities are good but poor. The staff is exceptional.

The gym could be better.

Beautiful grounds, efficient and professional staff, very clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and kitchen that was well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Parking available near our room. We had breakfast at the resort once and it was very good. Quiet, residential area and a nice but longer hike to town. You need a car here but will use it for your adventures around the Algarve! Indoor heated pool was one of the main reasons we booked here for our March visit as outdoor pools are open but too cold for most.

We tried to have breakfasts and lunches in our rooms to lower costs and so would have appreciated hand towels for the kitchen and dish washing soap (we bought some). Also bring your own hair conditioner. When we visited, it was cool and rained quite a bit and there is not much to do at the resort so keep in mind you'll need to be out and about. The hot tub was disappointing, small and not very hot with weak jets. Turkish bath was closed during our visit. Basically winter seems to be a time for repairs and upgrades in Portugal, keep this in mind and be ready to spend your days off the resort. With so much to do in the Algarve, it shouldn't be a barrier!

Zeer mooie en comfortabele appartementen op een rustig domein. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Omdat het binnenbad onverwacht niet beschikbaar was kregen wij gratis ontbijt.

Op een avond konden wij niet meer binnen in ons appartement. Uiteindelijk bleek het om een probleem bij de batterij van het veiligheidsslot te gaan. Het duurde wel even voor dit opgelost was…

Staff were SO friendly! My room was huge & spotless. Shower was powerful and L’Occitane products were offered! The spa looked lovely…unfortunately I didn’t bring my swimwear. The grounds were beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty of parking spaces. Felt safe. I actually want to live here! Didn’t want to leave. Will DEFINITELY be back.

It was a bit further away from the centre of Carvoeiro than I thought, but, I had a car so not a big deal.

The facilities such as indoor swimming pool and rooms were great.

Breakfast was expensive if not included in booking so had to dine out.
