Casa Mariantonia

Nice spot in anacapri. great swimming pool. Perhaps we expected too much due to the glowing reviews but we found the internal decoration of the rooms quite basic and the water pressure not great. More of a wine bar/ restaurant with rooms than a hotel experience and you can hear the restaurant music in the rooms until quite late. Service was super friendly though although breakfast a little haphazard . We booked the sea view suite with terrace which is definitely the best located room but it is really a family room with a dated kitchenette so not quite what we had expected.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located along the main street for shops/restaurants in Anacapri. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they really made us feel so welcome. So we had a wonderful stay. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning wasn’t on during our stay and the room would get a bit hot at night. If we opened the windows, it was quite noisy with the bar outside until late and the local church bells early.

Our stay was fantastic. Great amenities, helpful staff and clean rooms.

The room we had was a Terrace Suite Sea View room, which look over the pool and gardens of the hotel and Sea in the distance. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed. It had one bedroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a balcony around two sides. It was perfect for us as a couple with a teenage child who had a the sofa bed in the living area. The hotel has it’s only fantastic restaurant and also a wine bar and is easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Anacapri and the bus to Capri stops right out the front. The staff are very friendly and helped us with suggestions for things to do.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mariantonia and can’t wait to return. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff made us feel so welcome. Being a family run business the passion and love the owner showed in the every day running of the hotel was really apparent. We will definitely be recommending them and look forward to returning soon.

This is easily the best hotel I have stayed at, amazing location, rooms and service. Thanks to the team for making our stay very welcoming and pleasant, and assisting us with activities and transport.

Excellent location that was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, good breakfast. The suite was spacious, but at a rate of almost EUR 400 per night, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the cracked mirror glass in the bathrooms to be replaced or for the living room furniture to be a little less tired.

The hotel grounds and room were excellent but the service was bad. The booking info said the restaurant closes Nov. 1, we arrived on Oct.16 and it was already closed. Breakfast had great reviews but in reality it was just ok, with the guy serving us visibly annoyed by everything and everybody, especially guests trying to order anything. Pool was open 10-6, therefore useless for a morning swim or a relax after a day-long hike. Booking also mentioned a welcome gift but there was none and when we dared to ask the second day, we were reluctantly given a glass of prosecco. If it were not for the terroble service, the stay would be great.

We loved the location. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel for dinner “La Zagara” which was good but not excellent. They gave us an excellent lunch recommendation however “Da Gelsomina”. Overall a quaint and pleasant stay.

It’s a nice property. The entrance is little bit basic and underwhelming, but the rest is nice. What makes it extra special and nice is the staff - they really and truly provide amazing and warm service and go out of their way to organise everything for the guests. The service is way better then some ‘higher end’ places on the island. We had amazing stay and very much would recommend the hotel !
