Ramada by Wyndham Clairmont/Grande Prairie

The concierge was absolutely faulous. I think her name was shayla. She was very knowledagable and easy to communicate with and she took care of the pre auth set up through all the technical email issues we had.

I like the option of 3 beds in one room. That works great for families.

The service was excellent, but the price seemed a bit high for an older hotel with a disappointing breakfast. The voucher was good for a breakfast sandwich or a muffin. There may have been other options in the convenience store, but I didn’t see any. The ground floor room had a direct entrance which was convenient.

The front desk staff were great. Room met the needs well for our group.

I was worried that it would be noisy because there were a lot of industrial vehicles there but it was nice and quiet. The restaurant had good home-cooked meals.

Great place

The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful upon check in and also check out. This was a business trip for one of my employees who had a signed authorization on file to charge meals to the room, and they refused to even look it up, making him pay out of pocket.

The staff are exceptional. I’ve never been this far away from home by myself, and right from the start they made me feel welcome and safe. If I’m ever back in Grande Prairie, I won’t stay anywhere else.
