This was a charming old carriage home in a great location in Bar Harbor close to downtown. Even more impressive was the indoor lap pool and jacuzzi, which was a late night treat after hiking Acadia National Park all day.
Awesome place. Dan and Joan are amazingly resources for the area. The breakfasts were to die for!
Had a great time there, the host was a wealth of information.. Loved the Breakfast and conversations with the other friendly guest.
We loved the Chiltern Inn and would recommend it highly. Joan took time to map out a plan for us to see some highlights in the Park that we would not have known about. The house is gorgeous, and we will need to return for a longer stay to take full advantage of the amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and is such a relaxing way to start the day. Much nicer than a hotel. Love Love Love it!
Beautiful restored mansion that operates as a bed and breakfast. We stayed in the garden room, which was large and equipped with a fireplace, spa shower, and a private entrance into the back garden. Lovely, and perfect for our little getaway!

Wonderful place to stay. Our first trip to the area. Close to everything, within walking distance. The place was very nice. Didn't want to leave.
