Rodeway Inn Point Pleasant Beach

My first room was disgusting and our second room was worse with a door that connected to another room and our door wouldn’t lock felt unsafe for our children’s so we found a different hotel and left.

It was probably the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. There was a huge spider in between my pillow and pillow case. The walls are so thin i could hear everything next door.

Client entered the room, washed his face and used the soap. Upon finishing noticed dead flies stuck to the wall and bugs on floor as well as something smeared on the wall. He then went to the front desk to tell them and check out and was told that he was within cancellation policy and would be charged. I called the front desk and was screamed at and informed that the travel said the room was NICE when he checked out and because he used a towel and soap he had to pay. NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Was overall clean pool was clean besides the average dirt/ bugs and had nice overview over pool room smelt clean and bathroom didn’t have any lingering scent as well for bed and room overall

Found a chip under the sheet so means they didn’t change the sheets from the last guests but I’m sure other locations would do the same spent 265$ for 2 nights gentleman at front desk was nice good value and clean overall recommend for a cheap quick getaway

*language barrier - owners do not speak very good English ^number of towels and toilet trees doesn't match # of people staying *poop had over whelming a mountain of dead flying ANTS MY NEPHEW !!! cleaned pool *poop has one beach chair that is broken amd metao table chairs so hot you will burn skin rt off *last minute chosen to stay another night over weekend , room us paid in full, she chose to yell at me bc our room had a "jacquizzi" and the inherent room we were going to move to didn't.. when u asked why she was so mad and why im being charged an extra $40! She flipped out at the poor little "male" owner in their native language" and literally turned her back on me. I then proceeded to reverse the charge all together. That was apparently not possible and bc there were literally no vacancies this weekend I had 0 choice but to stay * no rules !! We had teenagers loud of hours of night, no pool rules, anything basically goes *the owners clean the rooms themselves then front office amd checkl ins and out are on hold

The continental breakfast was not available as advertise online. All breakfast signs were covered with tape, and the area was filled with boxes for storage. Our first room was smelling like cigarettes smoke, so we asked for a room change and appreciated their hospitality in granting it. However, our room did have random little holes through the wall

Room was fine for what we needed. The biggest problem was electrical outlets. There were 3 plugs in the entire room. One had the lights by the bed plugged in, one had the tv/fridge plugged in. And the other was in the bathroom.
