Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel

New rooms, clean, acceptable English everywhere we needed, great and helpful concierge, duty manager was a plus. Good quality breakfast buffet, excellent variety. Not too good the Chinese restaurant, the lounge and the ground floor cafè.

The staff is amazingly nice and friendly. They have helped and directed me to the nearest cafe and shops for bites and willing to offer help.

The room was relatively stuffy, as the air conditioning is under maintenance.

For 15 years a loyal customer. Very nice hotel with a good location. But it is also 15 years exactly the same. Had a top diner downstairs with the Italian, good wine and food.

I didn't have the room I booked. The Club Lounge (24th floor) was totally full. And the food and drinks are less and less quantity and quality each visith we have there. Breakfast at 24th is also finished. Downstairs breakfast is amazing, one of the best in the world, except the bread. The English language is still the biggest problem to communicate.

Fantastic hotel. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. Worth the room rate alone. The only issues I had was that the HVAC couldn't be lowered to my preferred setting (on winter heat throughout?) and coffee not available before 6:30am (challenging for international travelers). Staff were friendly and competent. I look forward to staying again for that breakfast experience in the restaurant!

Staff were great. Cleaners, laundry, lobby, taxi management, check in. The room was rather dated with a very complex ighting system. Cleaner challenge for all the surfaces but they did really well.

Next to train station, very convenient. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is ok, the “suite” is a regular room, the hotel charged for the extra bed, eventhough we indicated that we were 3 adult guest, maybe the lady at the front desk thought that we could sleep together in the king bed. The extra bed was horrible. Most of the staff at the restaurant didn’t speak english, there were not too many foreigners. The Club lounge was ok, but the western food had no variety, cold cuts, cheese, salad, fruits. The chinese food was great though. The buffet breakfast was excellent but the coffee was too strong and bitter for an americano. Great location
