Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel

A wonderful hotel with helpful front desk staff. Breakfast has many options, including coffee station, juice station, western and Chinese foods, amd fresh fruits. Has a nice fitness center. Walking to distance to fast food options, like KFC and a mall with upscale stores and Wumart, which is a grocery store. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had originally booked a three-night stay from January 31 to February 3, but I had to cut my trip short due to the poor quality of the hotel. First, we requested a birthday room decoration, and the hotel emailed us saying they could arrange it. However, when we entered the room, there was nothing. Second, the floor and bathroom were dirty. The hotel claimed to be a non-smoking hotel, but there was a strong smell of smoke in the elevator and the room. Third, the mirrors were dirty (everything was dirty). Fourth, the dishes were dirty, which was the most intolerable part—it was absolutely disgusting. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I will not return to this hotel.

Had a warm and comfortable stay. Despite it being only a short stay for a night,, the staff made sure they were courteous and also very hospitable. The breakfast spread was very good and one could manage and it served all tastes and even had amazing vegetarian options for my friend. Decent size rooms and good amenities

Service is top notch. I stayed in two rooms. Shower temp adjustment doesn’t work well. There is a smell in the lobby sometimes that’s not pleasant. Also the street leading to the front always has a sewage smell. Once you pass the spot the smell is gone. Overall it’s a decent hotel.

Pros. - the high-end gym at 27th floor with 360 degrees view of modern skyscrapers + most ergonomic Technogym Kinesis equipment - stunning breakfast buffet with huge choices even with free squeezed juice from different vegetables and fruits - close to shopping mall with food court Cons. - the main traffic road is very noisy at night, without earplugs I couldn’t get into sleep

- perfect location (next to the shopping mall, 10 mins from Beijing metro) - very kind and willing employees - excellent food, I definitely advise you to buy also breakfast (there are also gluten free options for the breakfast) - huge pool for swimming - the views from the pool were amazing - the place is clean as it should be - I definitely recommend this hotel when you are visiting Beijing
