Majestic Hotel (formerly Octagon Mansion Hotel)

Hotel has been much improved. I have spent a night or two there every three months. The property has changed fropm OK to good.

Deluxe Double Roomを利用。角部屋だった為、他の部屋よりも若干広かった。深夜の外からの大音量の音楽と、古いエアコンの大きな音は相変わらず。エアコンを切っても、隣の部屋のエアコンのブゥーン、ブゥーンという大きな音まで聞こえてきます。また、ほかの部屋も同じなのかわかりませんが、部屋の電気を消しても、メインの電灯がうっすら点いていて、部屋が真っ暗になりません。音、明るさに神経質な人はダメかもしれません。 深夜まで飲み歩いて寝るだけの人なら、コストパフォーマンスが高いのでおすすめです。安宿のアメニティのせっけんはザラザラしていて泡立たないことが多いのですが、ここのせっけんはなめらかでよく泡立つので気に入ってます。部屋のカードキーは安っぽい電磁カードで、スマホと重ねたりすると使えなくなることが多いので気を付けましょう。

価格相応のホテルです。日本の上野エリアに位置しています。周辺は和食レストランが多数あり、ローカルフードが食べれない私には便利です。宿泊者はフィリピン人、韓国人、日本人がメインだったように思います。

I booked & paid by my credit card almost a month before my stay BUT they gave me a worst room, rejected other guests because no signal for my mobile network. My family & friends can not contact me as well as me to them. I still went out of my room and stayed long hours on their fire exit stairway to get some network signal. Their wifi connection sucks too. Its telling connected but not connected at all. Or very weak signal. I was not able to rest and sleep good because I keep going out from my room and stayed to their fire exit stairway to be able to contact my loved ones.

Location was good because it's near Robinson mall, and more restaurant around the corner. For me it's just like an ordinary room without slipper.

ルームナンバー225でしたが窓の外は隣のビル、何も見えません。多分そのビルにはKTVなどの商業施設が入っているのか、音楽が遅い時間まで聞こえるので少しうるさいです。あとは価格相応のホテルです。

Happy stay

いつも使うホテルです。立地的にも便利なところにあって、近くにRobinson Place、レストラン、両替所など全てあります。フィリピンにはもう２５年以上のリピーターですが、いろいろな所に宿泊した結果いつもここを使うようになりました。短期の滞在なら５Starホテルもよいでしょうが、長期の場合大変良いです。Standard roomにもベッドが２つあって、これにも重宝しています。（１名に増えても追加料金はありません。）難を言えば部屋が狭いことです。

I have stayed at 1632 many times and know some staff by name. They are great, very helpful, the price is attractive, and the hotel is generally quiet and good standard. The only concern for some might be the hassles with salesmen and beggars outside in Malate, but they are not abusive, just a lot of them!

In out, comfortable, noisy outside, inexpensive, clean and helpful staff
