Staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to provide me with information specific to my needs.

Construction. It was everywhere. The hotel was undergoing a remodel that had the lobby and breakfast area stacked with materials and the associated dust and dirt that came along with the remodel. There appeared to be an ongoing construction project across the street that resulted in potholes and broken pavement that made it difficult to access the hotel.

No real complaints this is not a weekend stay with the kids kinda place. Good for sleep and go. Good for the price

Checked in with my husband and our two children. We weren't expecting anything fancy. We just needed an inexpensive place to sleep after a 5 hour road trip. Told the front desk the light would not turn on in the bathroom. Instead of offering assistance, they told us to try the other light switches. My husband had to help the front desk clerk change the light bulb in the bathroom. When we checked the bed before getting in bed for the night we noticed several dead bugs under the bed near the head board. We checked the other bed and noticed the same thing. When we told the front desk clerk they told us there are no other rooms available to offer. They came in and took pictures of the bugs. They told us we could not get a refund because we booked with Hotels.com using a hotels.com gift card. About 15 mins later they called out room asking us to make a quick decision if we would be vacating the room. We told them we need to call hotels.com to determine how to change our reservation since we wouldn't get a refund. The front desk called over and over again demanding to know when and if we would vacate the room. A new front desk clerk claiming to be the night auditor said they issued the refund and hotels.com would need to approve it and apply it to the gift card. Meanwhile my daughter is itching and praying we don't have to stay there because she's afraid of bugs. We finally vacated about 45 minutes later. Refund was issued in the morning.

It was clean and efficient.

While visiting Paducah, we checked a few hotels before we made our final decision, and this Red Roof was definitely our favorite. The price was right; the hotel looks like it was recently remodeled; very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were very happy with our surroundings. We used this as our 'home-base' while traveling the Paducah area and were very happy with the Red Roof Inn!
