How everything work in the room

I stayed at this property several times prior to the pandemic, which is why I decided to visit this weekend. The ONLY friendly employee was the initial woman we met when we checked in. I wish I'd gotten her name. She was there when we checked in and when we checked out. Every other time we walked by the front desk or asked a question of any employee, they acted as if we were bothering them. There is a very pregnant lady working the front desk, who literally rolled her eyes when we asked if someone could clean our room. We left our room for 2.5 hours on Sunday, returned and it still was not cleaned. We attempted to converse with the housekeeper in the hallway about her anticipated time to clean our room, however, she didn't speak English. I asked her in Spanish if 20 additional minutes would be sufficient time for us to leave and she handed us a trash bag. This used to be my favorite ALoft property, but I will NOT stay here again. While the bed and the shower are still nice features, the service is simply poor. I will make sure I don't recommend this property to anyone again.

Nice area and convenient to other restaurants, shopping and the highway.

Property was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful.
