- The staff was very kind and helpful - The pool was small but great - BBQ in the pool area for everyone to use - Location is spot on

- The Motel is pretty old, if you are stay-in-the-hotel person, pass by - there is a central police / fire dmp station right next to Motel so sometimes you hear the siren and also there isn't much to look at outside of your room

Good location. Old facility. Room was clean and fully acceptable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Glad they allowed me to park early and walk up to the beach from there. Thanks!

TV could have been set up to come on immediately with the remote or at least provide instructions for it's operation. More towels than one per person for the stay could have been provided. Perhaps just two sets each?

Nice staff, clean room, comfortable bed

Unfortunately unable to get any sleep , noisy guests, noisy street, neighbor smoking outside door set off my smoke detector during night. Strangers knocking on door throughout night. Do not recommend rooms facing Sherman. Also stairs to second floor right against room wall with headboard and window. Disappointing stay, Wanted to catch sunrise but after only two hours sleep couldn't do it. Would recommend trying to reserve upstairs rooms only.

I am in love with this place!!! Perfect location and the nicest, most hospitable people you will ever meet!!! Booked for 3 days...stayed for an extra 2. Family run business that really cares about their customers. All I wanted when I came down the shore was a roof over my head and a shower..I got so much more!!! Comfortable accomodations and customer service on a whole other level! Such wonderful people!! If you're looking for a spot thats close to everything...this is the spot for you. I can't stress enough how great this family is...they made my stay fantastic!!!! I will be back!!

The anchor motel was perfect for my quick beach getaway. The staff and owners are such a sweet family. The room was very simple but it was clean, the shower had great water pressure, the A/C was cold, and the bed was comfortable! I was super cozy in my room. I will be returning and I already recommended the place to a few friends!
