DoubleTree by Hilton Greensboro Airport

Desk clerk originally couldn’t find reservation. A little stressful. Toilet in room would not flush properly. Sink slow to drain. Hard to shave with dim light around mirror. Room layout was not very functional. Was supposed to get breakfast with room. No breakfast provided. Was charged for someone else’s breakfast in addition to ours. Clerk said he would resolve. Shower difficult to operate, had to be IN shower to turn on. Cold water not very pleasant. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Quiet setting.

This property is my go-to hotel when I come to Greensboro to see my daughter. I love the people, and the hotel is not too far from the various college campuses. Love this property.

Clean and comfortable. I gave four stars instead of five because the noise in the hallway is pretty audible from inside the room. I also could hear people in the adjoining room’s bathroom from our bathroom. The toilet in our room was also quite loud after you flushed it (the pipes). Despite those things, it was a very comfortable stay and we would absolutely stay here again.

The property was clean and check in was easy however after my friend and I checked in, housekeeping entered our room without knocking by using their own key. That was a huge invasion of our privacy due to we were in the process of getting dressed. The next morning at 9am, housekeeping was beating on our door and entered before we could answer because we were still in bed. Check out is at 11am. We spoke to the office staff and were told unless we had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, they start cleaning the rooms. They need a better system if checkout isnt until 11am, dont start knocking and entering occupied rooms at 9am.

Enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and the bed was comfy! Staff was professional and friendly. The complimentary bottle water and famous cookie was a nice touch to our stay. Definitely recommend this location!

Overall, a great experience. We were originally provided with a room that had an unusual odor, but returned to the front desk where they quickly reassigned us to a different room which was very nice.

It was convenient to where i need to be and close to the airport. However, for the price, the room needed to have the toilet fixed...would not flush properly and there was trash in the trash when I checked in. The hotel bar/restaurant is ok, but the bartender disappeared for over 1/2 an hour and then had an attitude when she returned and there were several people waiting on their check or just to get a drink and were frustrated for having to wait for so long. She was more interested on what was on her phone than customers.

Excellent staff. Friendly shuttle guy. Made me want to buy a house in NC from our talk. Very nice room. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
