Guest House Porto Clerigus

The location was really good, right in the heart of the old city and walking distance to most areas of the city for sight seeing. The included breakfast was a simple continental but fresh and tasty. Rooms were basic but suitable for a city break, kept clean every day and new towels provided.

The location, while very central, is located right in the middle of party town. I think there are 18 bars and nightclubs in the street and a similar number in the street behind. As a result, it is pretty noisy overnight until 6am, every night. This didn't bother myself of my wife as we could sleep through it but if you are a light sleeper you may wish to consider an alternative location.

Fueron mis padres y no me han podido decir nada bueno del lugar. Colchón imposible de dormir, pequeña habitación, no había amabilidad por parte del personal. Ubicado en una zona de pubs y bares con mucho ruido.

Es céntrico

Está en la calle de los bares, no se puede dormir por el ruido, el baño olía mal, la ducha iba mal también, estaban las cosas rotas, las moquetas del pasillo sucias y el desayuno dejaba bastante que desear. Muy caro para lo que es.

Very noisy at night, strong beats and music until 4 am, almost impossible to fall asleep, and I was told it is like this the whole summer, also the hotel is next to a strip club, as well as narrow streets hard to call uber, very very bad

The room neat and clean, staff very accommodating, very close to livello bookstore and clerigus tower, also and restaurants, will need ear plugs due to nightly bar activity, will stay again if and when in Porto!

This property sits between a discoteca that didn’t dl close till 6 am and a brothel. If you want to party this is your spot. If you want to sleep stay away. Staff was great though!
