Hotel La Madonnina

My husband and I stayed at Hotel La Madonnina for three nights during our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff gave us a warm welcome and guided us to our room, where a thoughtful bottle of Prosecco was waiting as a gift. Throughout our stay, the staff were attentive and incredibly helpful with all of our questions and requests. The beach area was stunning, with comfortable daybeds, spotless restrooms, excellent food and drinks, and the most inviting sea for swimming. Breakfast each morning was a delight, offering a wide variety of traditional Italian items alongside hot à la carte dishes. (Don’t miss the daily cake—it’s always fantastic!) We also made use of the indoor pools and treated ourselves to massages, both of which were relaxing and beautifully done. Overall, our time at La Madonnina was exceptional, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The only minor drawback during our otherwise wonderful stay was the bathroom setup. The shower was quite small, which made it a little tricky for us as as bigger people. Especially when washing my hair, as I often bumped my arms on the walls and doors. There also wasn’t any counter space for our belongings in the bathroom. That said, this was a very minor inconvenience compared to how fantastic everything else was.

friendly staff, outstanding delicious breakfast, beautiful views, close to the bus stop and restaurants

The property isn’t near a town, but you can easily get to an area by bus or taxi, there are also very close shops/restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with getting a taxi and they ensured our honeymoon was special with our stay there. Definitely want to visit more in the summer season since we visited mid October and would have loved to be able to utilize the beach access more but that was due to the time of year.
