Days Inn by Wyndham Blytheville

I checked in and confirmed non smoking, and the promised it was non smoking. I got to my room, and as soon as I walked in, it reeked of stale cigarette smoke, disinfectant and febreeze. The comforter had a cigarette burn in it. I open up the door and cranked the a/c as low as it would go, to try and filter the air. Then I went to the bathroom and it reeked too, the tub had a ring around it, and the caulking was dried and separated from the tub. It was too late to find another place. So I was left with out a choice. I could feel the springs poking in the mattress, so sleep was limited. Very early the next morning, i wen to take a shower, and the water dodnt get hot at all. Went to grab a towel and both had dark stains on them, so i dried off with a t-shirt. I could not wait to get out of there. I understand its an older building, but at least maintain it, and do some quality control inspections.

The room was disgusting. Hair and dead bugs in the bed. Mold in the walls. Stains in the bathtub, on the carpet, on the furniture and bedsheets. I did not stay, I left immediately after inspecting the room.

Being able to park at my door was convenient

The sheets had not been changed and had crumbs and debris in them. Additionally they only had a sheet and a top sheet - no blanket layer on the bed. The curtains were held together by a hair clip and the place was filthy. I was traveling with my cats so we just made due with blankets I had in the car and got through the night. Also the smoke detector was taken off.

I didn’t check the breakfast, if one was available. Bed was adequately comfortable. Room air conditioner worked great - kept the room nice and cold. Property was very quiet, but that was likely attributable to having only two other guests on the property when I was there.

The room was $54 - the facilities were adequate at that price. The condition of the property, the grounds, the room, the bathroom were all unsightly and run down. Staff was diligently cleaning but the lack of upkeep and repair was evident in every aspect everywhere.

*ONLY PUT HIGH STARS SO IT CAN SHOW UP!*When we arrived nobody was there to check in they had a number on the door that we had to call MULTIPLE times just to get someone to assist us… The man who answered the phone was rude and told me the receptionist was sick and we couldn’t check in until 5am and check out was at 11am and then proceeded to refuse a refund… he told us we had to send the deposit to his apple pay on his phone which to me was extremely sketchy… police were involved! 0/10 would not recommend!!!

The property is just so run down and looks worse than the pictures. My room was not clean, the baseboards looks so gross and like they had never been cleaned. The floor under the beds and tables etc all had dirt and the room smelled gross.
