Came to visit my mum, she lives only 10mins away. If the weather had been kinder we would have had a cream tea in the garden. We enjoyed fish and chips in the restaurant great value and professional friendly staff.

I stay here on business trips regularly, whilst the restaurant menu has become more limited obviously due to the obvious reasons the breakfast and food is very good. Room are well presented and quiet all I need for a business trip. Atmosphere is calm and quite.

Arrived late, friendly and helpful on desk. Room a bit tired, knocks on furniture that kinda stuff. Well supplied - soap, shampoo, nice biscuits with tea n coffee. I wasn't there long enough to comment more. I thought £14.50 was a bit steep for breakfast, I haven't paid more than £12.50 tops in a mid range hotel, most have cottoned on to not pushing it price wise as people do I what I did, just go somewhere else on route _
