Sofitel London Heathrow

Great location, really easy walk from T5. Staff were wonderful!

Worst hotel on our trip. The room was freezing upon arrival. The safe was broken, and the shower door scraped the tile floor with no room for a bath mat. Very few outlets, only at the desk. Had to dry hair at the desk not in the bathroom. The shower head could not be adjusted pointing at your feet. Too many smaller issues.

Beautiful hotel, so convenient

I booked my elderly parents into this hotel for one night before their early flight the following day. They had a very comfortable stay and the hotel was very convenient for walking into T5. I’ve taken off one star as there was a £9 drop off charge for me to drop them at the hotel entrance. Luckily there was an attendant at the barrier who informed me that I could go back into the hotel and ask for another ticket which would open the barrier for free but this meant having to pull the car over and walking back up to the hotel. I think it should be made clearer that this is an option before you arrive so that I could have sorted it at the door or a better solution would be to give a 10 minute window for people to drive through who are only dropping off.

Love staying at the Sofitel at LHR on my way to and from home. Its convenient clean and comfortable.

It us convenient if you are staying at Heathrow It is a little confusing to find but very nice when you finally get there

We stayed 1 night in September for early flight next morning. Very convenient for LHR T5 and is linked directly via a covered walkway. We stayed in room 1318 which is a standard room with queen bed. It had everything you needed: comfy bed, blackout curtains, tea making facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, ample storage and had 2 well placed mirrors in the bedroom and 1 big one also in bathroom. Didn't eat here, just drinks in the bar. Service was a little slow. The hotel is a little dated but adequate nonetheless. Overall, a pleasant stay and would always choose to stay here when flying from LHR T5.
