This is a beautiful, well kept hotel situated in the heart of downtown. It’s close to Ciry Market and River Street. Check in/check out was a breeze. Staff is welcoming . We got early check in, upgraded room, and free daily breakfast as part of Amex program. The hotel has a nice restaurant that offers great food and drink options. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits, the hot honey chicken and waffles, and the ham flatbread . There’s happy hour from 2-6pm. We used our hotel credit to save money on Lunch. The pool area is private and inviting. The hotel provides stick and s’more kit for the fire pit. A nice option for evening fun with family. Of note, the balcony with city views can be noisy. There’s a nightclub across the street. The hotel is next to Ellis Square. Few homeless people at night. I wouldn’t venture alone at night as a solo traveler. The valet parking is worth it. It’s a one time fee if you don’t move your car. There’s a public parking next to the hotel. I highly recommend the hop on/hop off tour. To save money you could use the DOT bus (free city bus) to get to Forsyth Park (it’s about 24 minutes walk from hotel). Don’t bother with Uber. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience at Andaz . I’ll stay there again. Big shoutout to Isaiah and Malika at the front desk. Savannah is a beautiful city; go visit!

The hotel was in a great location. It was close to both the riverfront and all the shops in town. It was a nice upscale looking room, which was kind of a nice break after looking at all the ornate architecture in most of the city. It was super clean and quiet. I loved the rooftop deck. The mini bar had complimentary water, juice, soda and some snacks which was so great to have. The prices for the mini-bar for the other drinks and snacks were very reasonable. I would go there again.

Boutique hotel with the most friendly and welcoming staff! Upgraded our room and left a sweet box of chocolate with a note for my daughter’s birthday. Happy Hour daily at the bar. Rooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

The service and location of the hotel made for a memorable experience. The service staff was very responsive to my requests.

The location of the hotel is excellent two blocks from the Riverwalk and adjacent to many of the parks. The hotel doesn’t have parking, but public parking is adjacent to the hotel for $20 per day. Everything is so close you really won’t need your car unless you’re heading out to Tybee Island, which is only 20 minutes away. Staff was friendly rooms were clean. We were on the sixth floor facing south towards the river. I would stay here again again.

The hotel was amazing, but the extra, ‘destination fee’ of $33 per night feels like an underhanded practice. Just include the prices up front in the booking. Additionally, you get to pay state and city tax, so it’s a pretty penny on top of the booking price. The hotel was a convenient walk to delicious restaurants and the beautiful parks. We enjoyed the pool and the nightly s’mores around the fire pit. Parking in the nearby garage was a bit pricey, but in reality it was reasonable for downtown city parking. Breakfast was good, but the wait times were excessive. We even chose to try a different restaurant after the second disappointing breakfast and skipped the breakfast credit. Tried to order room service for breakfast and never got anything but a busy signal. The bar cocktails were delicious and we stopped by again the next night. Overall, we would consider staying again, but would definitely hunt around for other options and read the fine print regarding extra fees…
