"One frozen husband."

This was our second stay. The hotel is conveniently located on the route towards Spain. Easy to find a short distance off the highway. Located in a light industrial area. Secure parking but not too many spaces. Handicap parking by the front door. Gracious receptionist who ensured us 24 hour coverage of the front desk. (See below). Comfy beds and lots of hot water for the shower.

My husband had to retrieve an item from the car in the night. Then he could not get back into the hotel. There was nobody at the front desk responding to let him in. It was -5 outside, freezing cold. Thankfully he could take refuge in our car for the three !! hours it took for someone to move around the lobby. We are retired and experienced travelers and this is new to us and it could have had dire consequences. I am discombobulated, to say the least.
