Tradicional Villa Del Mar

Clean quiet and pretty good location but very basic. One towel, I stayed on the bottom floor and upstairs is probably preferable. My window faced the sidewalk. But for the cost it delivers. Location near the river and walkable to the beach.

Hotel Tradicional was a gem. Clean, charming, and offering a unique experience, it stood out from the typical resort. Each morning, I relished sitting on my balcony, savoring the endless supply of coffee the attentive staff provided. Despite my request to skip room cleaning due to late nights, they ensured I had fresh towels, water, and garbage changes daily. When they did clean, it was impeccable. The staff treated me with genuine kindness, making me feel more like a valued guest than just another check-in. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay truly memorable. Also the neighborhood was amazing. The local vendors took great care of their business and the streets! I never felt unsafe. The local dogs were also behaved and explored and enjoyed their streets too.

Stayed one week, here for the dentist, great option for the budget conscious. Close to many options for dining, as well as the Guadalajara Pharmacy (I was a daily shopper). Close to many options for taking the bus, to/from airport (10 pesos) as well as the main bus option (10 pesos) heading south, to places like Mismaloya or Boca de Tomatlan, and the connecting bus to El Tuito (40 pesos).

Friendly and clean. Alice and Carmen are excellent cleaners. Luz-Maria on reception was very helpful.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the area is a bit quieter so people who find it difficult to sleep due to loud noise may enjoy resting at this hotel! Would definitely book again!
