On The Rocks Hotel

Lovely room with fab views- good location & excellent staff

Great staff, great location, great views! The pool water was a little cold, and the bed wasn't that comfortable, but come on, it's Greece: who cares about the bed?!

We stayed here in July 2015 and had an absolutely blissful week! Having seen the entire island we were confident that Imeriovigli is the best choice of location on the island and On the Rocks provided excellent accommodation for competitive pricea. Imeriovigli is the highest village on the island and has the most amazing views, it is one of the most picturesque, is easy to explore the island from and has lots of very reasonable restaurants serving delicious local food. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay; the manager met us and showed us our room and the hotel facilities and he and all the staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We were even upgraded to a superior room as they had the space (room 14 - right by the pool and great views from the balcony! But where doesn't?!). Breakfasts were abundant and delicious and the room was clean, light and airy and had everything we could have needed. Staying in a cave was great fun too! The bar menu and drinks were prohibitively expensive but it wasn't an issue as there are many very good places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity - Anoti on the main square was a particular favourite! All in all, an absolutely gorgeous holiday and we would happily return to on the rocks in a flash!

I am so glad we staed at On The Rocks. The staff there are amazing, gracious and helpful. The Manager personally escorted us to our room, which he had upgraded from a room to a suite.It was very large and had a private balcony with chaise lounges overlooking the pool. The staff were amazing including the housekeeper the brkfast stewards who brough us a delicious gourmet breakfast set up on our balcony at 8:00AM every morning. The lovely girl in reception was extremely helpful. The poolside waiter Vasili was delightful. The pool is large and clean. It is conveniently located to the Imervogli parking area which means it is not far to walk to the hotel on arrival. In Santorini, this is important. Imerovigli is a much more pleasant place to stay than Firastefani which is a madhouse.

Amazing location, stunning views. The pool and bar area was great and really liked the layout of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and very well organised, loved having the choice to have it on your balcony.

We loved everything about On The Rocks - unbelievable views and EXCELLENT customer service. Great location - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Phira and still close enough to walk. Only challenge for some of the rooms closer to the sea than the reception area, is that you need to be in excellent shape to walk the stairs but well worth the gorgeous views and rooms.

For a relaxing,breathtaking get-a-way where all you do is soak up the sun, sites and local bites-- THIS IS THE PLACE!. It's a jewel in the sky! Vasilis, the front desk manager, was exeptional with suggestions and super friendly. This type of service is what really makes people want to return to the same hotel. He even worked on his birthday! We thank him for such a nice stay and to the entire team for caring for our every need.

Great staff and fantastic Boutique Hotel! If you are looking for a Hilton the this is not for you but if you want a greek experience ( you are in Greece after all) then this hotel is perfect. the views from all rooms are stunning with breakfast served on you're balcony each day is the perfect way to start the day. close to lots of good restaurants but still far enough away from Fira to avoid the cruise ship rush of the day. the only thing I will say is if you don't like steeps then I recommend requesting a room near the top of the cliff face if you want Greece then "Perfect"
