Abian Biu Mansion

We enjoyed our stay here so much we even returned. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the pool was the perfect size for my morning swim. There was a language barrier at times with some members of staff however they were always attentive and friendly. The receptionist Efen helped my boyfriend out with his scooter and after his shift had finished he grabbed his own scooter and showed us the local area. We loved the location and exploring the local area on our rental scooter. However if you plan on walking to places I would think twice as this part of Bali is ruled my scooters and there is no path.

Worth every penny, quiet place and lovely decoration. Room is really spacious and beautifully decorated. I was looking for quiet area to stay so Umalas was a good choice, probably not a suitable place for anyone who's looking to be near all the hustle bustle. Only 5 mins with motorbike ride to Desa Seni for yoga and spa, and 10 minutes walk to the delicious Monsieur Spoon umalas for breakfast. Reception isn't always around so probaly best to make advance arrangement for anything you might need.

Stayed here with my boyfriend recently. It was very quiet so our stay was quite relaxing. Room was enormous and stunning. Most comfortable bed I have slept in in 3 months of traveling. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant had tasty food!

When i was stay in this hotel, me and my huby are the only one guest. So i feel like i ownned the hotel for myself. I chosed standard room at second floor with street view. Rate ia very cheap, for about $30 you have standard need amenities like mineral water, tea and coffee, toileteries, hot shower, kettle for making hot water, towwel, tissue. There is a room at second floor that facing the rice field, and the superior room is in another building near pool and the corridor is nice, lot of chinese peranakan decoration and you will feel back in colonial time. You will have two option for breakfast, indonesian and american breakfast. Nasi goreng is acceptable but the orange juice it taste like overspill syrup. The pool have to take more attention because overload kaporit. It bitter taste in my mouth so i decide to stop swimming. You can take a pathway to ricefield in the morning at the back of the hotel. Over all i have a good experience in this hotel.

The hotel is located away from the crowded tourist spots. It is good for those seeking for a calm place to stay. Lovely decoration with a nice little terrace attached with the room. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful.

As all tourist destinations, Bali is transforming constantly. New properties are opened every day. Abian Biu has been around for a while and this gives the place a nice charm. The rooms are excellent, especially the bed. Breakfast could improve, but is negotiable. Location is excellent when you have a motor bike. Service is excellent, like in a colonial mansion. Ari, the manager, is super-friendly. Stay here, you will not regret it. Just dont come all at the same time, so the prices will stay low :)

This place seems lovely enough, but it definitely isn't where it looks to be on the Trip Advisor map. On the map, it looks to be in Seminyak, near-ish to Ku De Ta, Seminyak Square, etc. However, it is really in the north end of Kerobokan! So do a double check before you book.

shower water have a very bad odor and the room also.we needed to get airfresher just to sleep.our booking included breakfast but the reception told us breakfast not included.because they couldnt speak english we had trouble to explain.

We stayed at the Abian Biu Mansion for our first leg of a two week trip over Christmas. The atmosphere is inviting, clean, well maintained, GREAT staff and good food. The location is a little bit off the beaten path which is nice for some quiet time outside of the Seminyak chaos. Fortunately you're a 5-10 min walk to all the $6 massages you can ask for. There are also quite a bit of food options to choose from. Because this area isn't rampant with tourists, the locals are friendly and won't hussle. I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a place to unwind, steer clear of the crowds, be taken care of by a great staff and disconnect. PS. The pool rocks.

Stayed here for seven nights earlier this month, and really enjoyed our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms (and whole hotel) were very clean. Breakfast was filling and nicely presented (fresh fruit, eggs and bread basket). It is a really nice location in terms of having rice paddies nearby, and being nearish to Seminyak. The only downside is it is quite a long walk to the beach (25 mins) along busy and winding roads, so a taxi/scooter would be advisable. Also, there aren't many restaurants nearby, and the food in the hotel is quite expensive for Bali. There is a minimart nearby for essential items.
