Americas Best Value Inn Carlisle

Not much was easy to get on and off the highway once you found the place.

The hotel is not well marked and located behind a closed hotel, apartment complex. The sign for hotel is small and not lit up at night. The outside of the property is very dirty, and not maintained well. I believe that the property is also being used as apartments as someone mentioned that they and their family had been living there for over a year. And there were packages left at secondary entrances and at the room we were in. The key to our room was deactivated and the staff acted like it was an inconvenience to correct it. The hotel also advertised a breakfast in the morning but when asked about it was told that it was only on the weekend because of it created to much trash, and then it was not there on the weekend we checked out. I chose this place because of the pictures on your site and thought it would be a good place to stay, And the other reason I stayed was they had already taken the money from my account before I had even checked in. Needless to say that I will not be staying there again. I chose this hotel because of the photos in the ad on your site and it is the only time I have been disappointed with your service.

Worse place to stay. Asked for non smoking room, but smelled smoke in the hallways. Bathroom was filthy. Black smudges on shower walls. Mold in tub and bathroom floors were dirty. Shower curtain looked like someone used it to wipe their butt. Stains looked like poop. Room had cobwebs that looked like they had been there for several years. Sheets smelled clean, but pillows looked like they haven't been cleaned and need to be replaced. I actually had bugs in my hair after sleeping on them. Bed bugs bit me on my neck, shoulders and legs. No breakfast as advertised. The breakfast bar was filthy. Microwave did not work to heat up a cup of water. Sink was gross. No one cares about this place. Should be condemned by board of health.

Outside of property was in rundown condition. Interior was in better condition, but room had an odor, that was very unpleasant. Paid for two nights but only stayed one night

Room was huge! Great price! Very quiet and the staff is absolutely wonderful! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Needs to be demolished mold in room, people living in the hotel, no breakfast, unsafe feeling. Behind a condemned old hotel.

Obviously in a rebuilding mode. OK considering.

TL;DR - Do not stay here. Moldy bathrooms. I'd like to preface my comment by saying that I have stayed in a broad spectrum of accommodations. This one was easily the worst. I stayed just long enough to sit down and book a room in a different hotel. Do not trust the images on the website. The interior hallway smells like smoke and the beds make an unnerving metallic/iron creak if you so much as look at them. I can look past all that. I've stayed in worse. But my room was less of a hotel room and more of a... previous crime scene. I'm not sure how many rooms are like this, but one is too many. This hotel should ne be able to list their accommodations on any site.

Did not stay at this property. It was dirty and run down. I canceled and found another hotel.

Didn't like anything

Room was clean, beds were good, and leather like chair was very comfortable.

Toilet flapper wasn't working good, and took 20 minutes to check in.
