Fantastic!

My husband and I came to this lovely B&B for one night for our 20th wedding anniversary. Wow!! What a beautiful place! Well kept with gardens and pool outside. Inside clean and charmingly unique. The couple who owns it are extremely hospitable, friendly, and kind! Our bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast---We felt like we were kings and queens! Couldn't recommend this place more!! :)

We had a very enjoyable stay at Alpenhof B&B. The host was informative and provided great instructions on accessing the property, walking the gardens and the history. He’s very laid back and wants his guests to have a relaxing stay and we did despite some bad weather making travel to and from our events a bit scary. The umbrellas available to borrow were really helpful! The art and flowers throughout the property make this a very unique property. The pool was lovely! Our room was a bit small but very comfortable and very clean. The shower pressure is very strong and probably should adjusted a bit as it can make manipulating the shower curtain to prevent spray outside of it pretty tricky. Breakfast was very nice, cooked to order from a menu with nice variety. I personally am an early riser and would love to be able to get some coffee before 7am but other than that, I have no other suggestions. Alpenhof is a lovely place for a relaxing weekend in that area of PA. We certainly would return to it if back in the area.

We absolutely loved everything about the Aplenhof, the property, the pool, the breakfast and the host, Roland. Our room was extremely comfortable and very very clean. It lacked no amenities. Great menu for breakfast, coffee very tasty and meeting new people at the breakfast table is always fun. The gardens surrounding Alpenhof are stunning a testament to the hosts hard work.  We enjoyed the pool and noted it felt Spa like surrounded by all those beautiful flowers.

Not a thing

The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit yogurt and many different choices such as omelets, pancakes, waffles and plenty of delicious pastry. The location and the gardens are beautiful and we took long walks through the residential neighborhoods. We came in for a wedding and the highlight of our trip was Alpenhof! We hope to return very soon.
