Breakfast was just bread, cream cheese , jam and apple and banana No eggs no omlette no toasts

The wifi didnt work in my room for 1 hour when I arrived Staff was friendly but flies and bugs were in my room Toilet bowl was not as clean as expected One light not functioning in the room

Nothing. We didn’t even stay because the place was pretty crappy.

Felt like we would be staying in an old outdated VFW hall. From the carpet that probably hasn’t been changed for 50 years to the couch that was coming apart at the seams, the furniture was all beat up and the whole place had bad horror movie murder vibes. Don’t even think of going to the “lodge” the stairs were all crumbling, the stench of stale cigarettes and bad decisions immediately hits hard upon entering. Way overpriced for what they offer. Very disappointing, ruined our weekend, drove home two hours to avoid having to stay there! Terrible.

I liked the quiet, fire pit barbecue and to sit by the brook and listen to the water.. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The pool water could have been warmer.

There wasn’t anything good about it.

The carpet was wet and smelled of mildew, there was hair all over the bathroom with black gunk in all the corners of the bathroom. The pool was closed and the tv didn’t work.

Budget

I arrived at 7:00 pm and no one was in the office. The instructions said to use the phone to contact management but the phone was broken. I knocked on the door of a house next door. No answer. Eventually after half an hour a guy showed up and basically dismissed me.

It was clean and the price was good. Shower was fine.

Took a while to get the heat up and a bit run down.

Excellent location, lots of things nearby, and the room was comfortable, as were the heating and hot water. The host was very attentive and readily helped us with all our needs. It was great that we found a place where we could bring our dog.

The breakfast area is neglected; there's barely any bread or jam, and no coffee. The whole area is very run down. We couldn't use the pool because it wasn't open. They should improve that area, and if they can't provide a decent breakfast, they shouldn't offer it at all.
