Lovely hotel Delicious food.Incredibly nice staff and lovely big bedrooms. Only downside was limited parking and having to pay for a permit.

Sadly i was here for sad reasons . It is a regular hotel for us 4/5 times ayear. I think Hannah on the front desk is a star she is friendly helpful, discreet. And a lovely charm about her

A couple of Christmas functions going on the night we stayed so naturally bar service was a little slow. I think the staff may be a little tired as well as it wasn’t quite up to its usual standards but still overall a comfortable stay. We will go back.

We had a lively stay at the Burlington, celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. The staff were all helpful, cheerful and friendly, and whether it was deliberate or not, in view of it being our anniversary, gave us a lovely room (343) with sea and garden views, a huge comfy bed and really everything needed for a hotel stay. Other than breakfasts we only ate in the hotel one evening, sharing a burger (..yep, the munchies!) after spending the evening enjoying a music gig at Keppels bar 2mins away. Breakfasts were mostly fine - again, everything we needed, except each morning something of our choiceswasn't available - a banana, kippers, one morning no pastries left, no fruit compote (really nice on the one morning it was available). Overall, however we had a great time on our special occasion and would definitely go back again. Thanks BW staff, it was excellent!

Lovely room, excellent bed and bathroom. Stain glass and old Victorian building really is very special. All staff I met where helpful and friendly / I will be back 👍.

Lovely building very close to the Leas with its views across the Channel to France. Hotel very comfortable and staff excellent.

The reception staff were fantastic. They instantly took a shine to our pup , Freddie, and made him feel welcome too. They were really helpful. The room was lovely. We had a Superior. We ate in on the first evening and we had the Fish stew which was my ultimate comfort food. So good in fact that we are in the following night as well. We couldn’t fault breakfast either. There is a wide choice and there is more than ample with the ‘ Full English’ enough to keep you going throughout the day. Did we have a good relaxing and attentive weekend? Yes , absolutely. We’re already booking to go back in the Spring.

Perfect overnight stay. We were going to a concert at the Leas Cliff Hall. The Burlington is a 10 minute walk away and in a lovely part of Folkestone. Room was very comfortable. Hotel wifi recommended as mobile coverage not great.
