Art Hotel Hirosaki City

The location: next to the train station.

Although the bathroom was clean, the carpet and chair in the room looked grimey, as did the carpet in the hallway. Although the staff attended us to the fact that they had overcharged us by a couple of hundred yen, the reimbursement was very arduous. They should have just handed us the cash. Instead, they insisted on cancelling the initial debit card payment (which was not immediate and in the end, it took 3 days to appear on our account) and charge us for the lesser amount, which meant that we left the hotel with nearly a double charge for the one night we spent there and not knowing whether the initial reversed charge would actually be effected. Totally unnecessary and not really the best way to treat a hotel guest.

Good location. Nothing was bad.

AC wasnt the strongest. Dated.

Location

The location of the property is a big plus. Very close to the station and main market though a bit far from hirosaki park but we rented bicycle which was again located just outside the station so worked well. 7/11 is just outside the hotel. The view from the hotel room was just outstanding. The only issue with this property was facility like swimming pools were costing additionally and needed advance booking but the cost was again affordable.

朝食のバイキングがこれまで内外見たことが無いくらいの充実したものだった。種類豊富、質感も優れていた。値段も手ごろだった。お席も広く落ち着いて食事できた。

温泉でなくても良いから大風呂があるとよかった。
