Columba Hotel

It was in an excellent location for walking around Oban. We had a room that was overlooking the water The staff was friendly and top notch.

It was a little outdated however we would stay again. Parking was a little challenging but it worked out and the staff was helpful.

The lo action was perfect and we loved the vintage lift.

Think the cost could have included breakfast.

Dinner was great, lamb bhuna really delicious. Breakfast also very good and they provided gluten free cereal and bread for me. Lovely view from my room and location was so central.

Mattress thin and firm, though I still slept well. Shower pressure very low.

El hotel está situado en un sitio privilegiado. Es un edificio antiguo muy bonito y nos dieron una habitación amplia y con unas vistas fantásticas de la bahía.

Es una pena que un hotel que podía ser tan bonito esté tan deteriorado. Pero lo peor de todo fue la cama, que además de pequeña tenía un colchón terrible.

We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Any staff members we met at the reception area were always very pleasant,friendly and helpful. Our third floor room was spacious,comfortable and had large windows overlooking the bay- beautiful views. The bed was massive but have to say it could have benefited from a softer top layer to the mattress. The room was beautifully clean- top marks to the staff who keep them this way. The hotel building is old,traditional and nicely upkept. We even loved the ancient lift

Only thing was the bed,as previously said.

Views were amazing, staff friendly and helpful. Indian curry in the restaurant was delicious. Room was clean, roomy and comfortable.
