Manos Small World

This hotel does not offer the standard or level of service expected for the rate it charges per night. The price I paid per night seemed too much for what I received. First of all, there's no private balcony as opposed to what's cleverly depicted by the hotel pictures. Instead, you get a shared TERRACE with other rooms in the row and there are two chairs and a table in front of each door. It is the similar to getting a hotel with no balcony and a shared water-front seating area/breakfast area. Not worth paying extra thinking you are getting a balcony. Don't expect to have any kind of service. The reception office has very limited day-time hours and was closed most of the time we needed anything. In fact, there's always a note at the reception door for guests to call since there's no one there to help. The rooms have no phone, no alarm clock and no basic amenities like a phone charging outlet. The TV in the room is the size of a monitor (24 inches). Wifi service never worked even though they claimed it worked. The excuse we were given was that iphones have a hard time connecting. We put that to test, and even Android phone didn't get any Wifi signal because they didn't have a longer bandwidth to serve all their rooms. Moreover, we got to our room at 9PM and their office was closed which basically meant no one there to check us in and get us in the room that we had already paid for. The only good thing was the room delivered breakfast in the morning.

Great stay at a lovely 4 star hotel. Located right on the cliff in Firastefani the views from the porch are breathtaking. The rooms were large and clean, the shower was a good size, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was varied and tasty. The price was relatively affordable for caldera view rooms (with breakfast included). Unfortunately they only have a hot tub(filled with cold water) which is tucked away from the cliff and no pool. Also one room (ours) had a large palm tree outside blocking some of the caldera view. It would have been nice to know about that before arrival. Overall we had a great night here.

Our stay at Manos Small World exceeded our expectations. Just completed a 3 night stay and we found this property to be a perfect little jewel in Firostefani. Efthimios and Thrassos were extremely helpful and accommodating to our group of 9. They were always ready and willing to provide us with any assistance necessary including arranging transportation (which was quite the challenging feat for our group). Everything they recommended was always “on point”. Daily morning breakfast, perhaps not elaborate, was generous with more than adequate variety; the suites, themselves, had all the necessary amenities and were exceptionally clean. Location of MSW is ideally situated 15-20 min walk to bustling Fira (to the north) or 20-25 min walk to beautiful Imerovigli (to the south)! And last but certainly not least, from our morning breakfasts on the veranda to the eveving sunsets! ...The view from our suites(s) was SPECTACULAR!!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! We travelled all over Europe and it was by far the best hotel! Their hospitality is like no other! The views are beautiful and it is in the best location! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great location right in between Oia and Thira. Walking distance to both. Hotel staff was exceptional. Beautiful hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent view and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets Santorini has right from our terrace. Would definitely recommend.

My mom and I stayed at Manos for 3 nights and it was perfect!!! The view from our balcony was absolutely amazing! Maria who runs the hotel is the sweetest and is so incredibly helpful with any questions and definitely goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. My mom and I travelled across Greece for a couple weeks and this was by far our favourite hotel!

This hotel is situated in a central location on the island. Easy walk to Fira, but far enough from all of the crowds. It has a stunning view of the caldera. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Each room has a little breakfast table overlooking the view, where they serve a nice breakfast every morning! Honestly it's hard not to have an amazing time in Santorini, simply because of the stunning setting and beautiful welcoming Greek people. But this hotel made the experience extra special. The owner, Maria, is so warm and welcoming and helpful, and she instantly made us feel at home. I feel like we were treated like family. There are certainly more expensive hotels you can find, with some more amenities (like swimming pools), but this hotel (and Maria) gave us memories we will never forget!
