Alpine Lake Motor Lodge

This motel is immaculately clean and tidy. The linen is spotless. There is plenty of room in each unit for a couple and some units have a spa bath. It is easy to get to and in a busy place like Taupo it is quiet overnight. Highly recommend this place.

The motel is located a short distance from the city center. We had a room with a spa that could sleep 5 in 2 rooms. There was a kitchenette, lounge, table and chairs. Pretty much everything you’d need. The bathroom was compact with a good shower. Some maintenance required to fix the big crack in the ceiling in the lounge room. The TV didn’t have Sky channels but the wifi worked ok. There seemed to be plenty of parking. You could hear some traffic noise and noise in the roof, but it didn’t impact our sleep too much.

Great spot and lovely rooms

Very impressed ! A friendly welcome on arrival . Our room had everything we needed- the bed was very comfortable . A courtyard that we could sit at that was private. The room was warm but then easy to cool down when it got humid. Great shower. Parking was good too which is a huge plus- it wasn’t too tight .Will definitely be back to stay!

Reception was excellent, accommodated our special requirements.

Loud people in the hotel at 3 am. No one there from hotel to see to stop them. Very noisy loud night. At arrival the room is full of cigarette smoke, then its unbearably noisy. Price far to high for the experience. Price far to high for the experience.
