Good location for us to rest before heading to Acadia National Park. Good value for money.

Breakfast was simple, no hot food option. But it was within our expectation given the price point

Location, place was clean.

The HARDEST mattress EVER. More like a BOARD WITH SHEETS ON IT. (I had back surgery 35 years ago, so hard mattresses aggravate my back). Woke up after 3 hours with every NERVE in my back on FIRE! I sat in the padded deck chair for about an hour (it was much softer than the bed). Contemplated sleeping in my car (but too cold outside). Eventually slept on top of the pillows using my balled up sweatshirt as a pillow (since the two actual pillows were under my back). Managed to get in another 3 hours of sleep that way. Completely overshadowed everything they did right. What's the point of a place to sleep if you can't SLEEP?

Very easy to make a booking--I did it at the lst minute as I was getting tired after a day of driving through the rain. Nice to have breakfast included. Room was reasonably comfortable, especially the bed. The basics--comfort, cleanliness, ease of booking--are fine. Located on a busy street, but you can't hear the traffic.

Bathroom was clean, but it is in need of updating. Extractor fan, which canme on with the bathroom light, is icredibly noisey and loud, and there's no way to turn it off except to turn off the bathroom light.

The location is clean and comfortable. Easy to reach from the station and in a good position to scroll around.

The breakfast is good for the value. The WiFi can work better!

It was old-fashioned, but very relaxing, just as its name implied.

The only sources of protein at breakfast were cream cheese, peanut butter, and milk.
