Great eating

Always stay here, very nice staff

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour group and there were both pros and cons. The pros were - excellent and helpful staff at reception; free access to a computer in the lobby; a bar, lounge and restaurant; comfortable enough rooms, although we had a very inconsistent shower; a number of decent restaurants nearby and well serviced by bus and tram. The cons - sheer incompetence in the dining room for breakfast. Regardless of the number of people in there, the staff were incapable of keeping up with the supply of food, juices or plates and cutlery and the "go-to" fruit, was lemons. In terms of location, it was about 4 kms from the main sites and attractions and thus, was reasonably placed.

I was supposed to get a wake up call at 5 AM so I could get my bus to Sarajevo. No wake up call. I woke up on my own at 7:15 AM. I missed out on seeing Sarajevo, and had to eat the cost of my hotel in Sarajevo and the bus rides there. I had to spend an extra 2 days in Belgrade. I will never use Holiday Inn again. I never again will travel without my own personal alarm clock. I will no longer rely on the hotel to give me a wake-up call. I do not throw away food. Ever. I go to get a cup of coffee at breakfast, and when I returned to my table, my food plate had already been taken away and thrown out.

Simply amazing!

Hotel is nice and in good shape. A little off the beaten path but easy access to major sites by taxi. Not many restaurants within walking distance. Room was large and comfortable. Good bed. Staff could not have been nicer. Very helpful at every opportunity.

- No temperature regulation into the conference room - we haven't received the key to lock the conference room door during the breaks. - Issues with the rooms invoices for our participants - Unfriendly attitude from the front desk stuff - DESPITE THE AGREEED ROOM PRICES FOR THE 2 SESSIONS OF OUR TRAININGS (FEB & MAR), THE HOTEL INCREASED WITH 35 EURO/ROOM /NIGHT THE PRICES FOR THE SECOND SESSION, JUST FEW DAYS BEFORE THE 2ND SESSION! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL.

They had only a couple of smoking rooms and I booked one of them, even though I'm not a smoker. And I did not expect that a 4-star hotel does not take care of many details. The room smelled awful of tobacco smoke, I think 4 star hotels can do a much better job of keeping it clean. The curtain and the floor were burnt from cigarettes, since it was raining that night and I was on the top floor, the bathroom was leaking from the ceiling, good luck in the bathtub. I immediately complained to the reception, but they did nothing to check-out. It's not worth the money or the stars.
