Hacienda La Pacífica Eco-Lodge

Short stay before flying back to Canada after travelling Nicaragua. Hotel clearly had seen better times, however, the owners working hard to restore all facilities. Ideal for 1 to max 2 nights if you had a vehicle. Grounds nice and tidy, plenty of animals, nice pool and the variety of dishes on the menu offered variety, even though a little expensive.

We needed a stop over on the way to Monteverde, this was an excellent choice. The rooms were comfortable, but they do need a little updating. The staff and the restaurant were both great and we loved the grounds. Would stay again if in the area

Very nice. The natural setting was unexpectedly extensive with birds and animals

What a lovely surprise. Wanted a stop between Liberia and La Fortuna so we wouldn’t have to drive too far in the dark after our flight. This little gem was perfect! Adorable rooms, peaceful, lots of wildlife, lovely restaurant, wonderful breakfast, excellent service, pool. Honestly was perfect for one night. Especially loved all the wildlife! Not much to do after that so I wouldn’t stay longer. But, I would definitely stay again if travelling in or out of Liberia.

Staff and food are always great

The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was incredible. It was the perfect spot to stay before we left out of Liberia. The only critique was our bed was overly firm. That being said, I would absolutely stay there, again.

Great staff. Beautiful pool. Our kids loved seeing wildlife all around the property (agouti, deer, monkeys, birds, …)

Quiet and secluded but just off the highway.

This hotel is easy to find on Route 1. Its extensive grounds have lots of wildlife and are well-maintained. The pool is big enough for swimming laps. We opted for the least expensive room and the bathroom was outdated but still functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Old and in need of face lift. Faucet without sink plug. Open hole that anything could fall into. Door to patio did not feel secure. Staff at check in was very friendly though. Food in restaurant was very good.
