SKKY Hotel

The rooms are nice and clean, but it is the front desk staff who really stand out at this hotel. They are the reason I go back to this hotel when I go to Whitehorse. They always make me feel so welcome and do what they can to help. Once I forgot something and they called me to see if I was still in town. These are the best front desk staff I have seen at any hotel in Whitehorse. I just hope the owner knows it and pays and appreciates them accordingly.

We have been staying at the Skky hotel for years. Most of the time in the winter for sled dog races. They provide electric outlets to plug in our truck's block heater. That is a service that is important when we have been there when the temperature drops into the negative 40° range. We were greeted with a totally remodeled room this trip. The bed is extremely comfortable with a new headboard and nightstands. Even the lamps are new and very nice. The one thing that remained original is the shower. You will not find a larger one and this one has a huge rainforest shower head. The staff will treat you better than your family. We get hugs and hand shakes when we arrive and leave. Imran and Freddie are employees that l would gladly hire if I owned a motel. Another important factor is all the cameras that cover the parking lot. We know several people that stayed in places downtown and had their vehicles broken into and things stolen. If you are looking for a place to stay in Whitehorse, make the Skky hotel your home away from home.

Good Service, Good Rooms, Clean Hotel, easy check in . Big beds nice bathrooms and showers always a good experience when coming here.

Stayed one night in a newly renovated room. Spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. $9.00 cab ride to airport or walk on a nice day. Only the Taj Mahal restaurant but another restaurant is next door. Freddie at the front desk was very friendly, thanks.

Very friendly Staff and accommodating. What a big difference with the refurbished rooms. Close to the airport making it very convenient for me to travel.

As usual the staff was very accommodating the manager was very helpful and went out of his way to help us out. We arrived late and left early and he was there the whole time. I will always stay at the SKKY Hotel when I’m in Whitehorse

The hotel is just across the road from Whitehorse Airport. The room was clean and very comfortable. The adjoining restaurant was very welcoming, as were the hotel staff, and the food was good.
