I fell asleep, with the light on and awoke after 1.5 hours. I opened my eyes to see a little bug crawling out from under the sheet on the opposite side of the bed. I took the bug to the night manager, a woman, who said they didn’t have any other rooms available. ( as if I could sleep in another room), and she “couldn’t do anything until I talked with my manager”. I checked out and ended up sleeping in my car at the Walmart in Oxford. I have received no contact from this hotel. They have all my contact information and I sent an email, (October 31, 2023), requesting a refund and have not received a response. Horrible customer service!!

Easy assess and nice and neat

I will probably never book through an online company again due to I canceled the king size room because I needed 2 queens. When I go to check in I'm charged for 2 rooms instead of 1 due to your company adding the additional king room.

matress was firmer than i like. other than that the stay was perfect.

The room had odor like urine presumably in the rug.

The turn off road / street was not clearly marked but thats not fault of the property. Checked in late, no problems. Really no complaints.

It was peaceful and beds was comfortable

Not much, I’m not sure how this place got those great reviews upon which we made our decision to book here… the only good things were the very friendly lady at the reception and the fact that we received a room on the first floor and didn’t have to drag the baggage up the stairs.

First, the location seems a bit dingy, it is hard to find it, especially in the evening/night. We arrived late and when we entered the room the AC was off. We were struck by a terrible musty, moldy smell. We turned on the AC, hoping that it will help, it didn’t. Obviously, they turn it off during the day to save costs, but it doesn’t really pay off. It was really hard to sleep the night there, if it hadn’t been that late, we would have left and looked for another place to spend the night. We did get a room on the first floor, which we usually appreciate a lot with places without elevators, but this time around it was bad, we had some heavy weighted neighbors in the room above us who ran, jumped around and talked very loud until midnight. Add the noise from the AC and the highway nearby and you get the picture. The room itself was pretty spacious, obviously updated, clean, the bed was quite comfortable, but that smell was just horrible and ruined everything. We will definitely not return.
