Our evening dinner on our first day was great. The breakfast buffet was OK The staff were friendly and helpful. The venue was excellent as we were to attend a wedding at Hawkstone Hall.

The rooms were quite small but OK for our short stay.

The rooms were nice and modern. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful unlike the other staff.

The staff working the check in were not very friendly at all. Acted like we were more of a bother to them. One of our rooms had such a foul smell from window glue that we had to be moved. The food was horrible, everyone was sick that evening.

Beautiful views and scenery. Friendly and helpful staff. Great golf course !

There is no lift due to ot being a historical building.

Dinner was available when there appeared to be no other guests

The premises are very big but it appeared we we were one of two or three guests in the whole facility. It is surprising the venue was even open. For intended guests it would have been preferable for the hotel to cancel the booking in advance when the occupancy rate was known to be so small. The staff were very average and consistently very average throughout the facility. The standout exception was George who was barman, waiter and bright light of the establishment.

Staff very friendly and helpful Room clean and comfortable breakfast great as was evening meal.

Unfortunately wedding party also booked in Friday night and a corridor fire door outside the room was banged Open/shut numerous times in the early hours by people going up/down corridor disrupting sleep.
