Oakfield Inn & Suites Rochester, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This is a nice clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast choices are pretty limited and only snack type food. Staff is friendly. If a true breakfast is what you are looking for then there are locations nearby. Rooms are serviced upon request like most hotels we have stayed in. A sad decline for all after covid but all it takes is a request and it is done. Coffee was not working when we had an early airport pick-up and really nothing left to eat that I would count as food. I would stay here again since we visit family in the area and food really isn’t an issue.

You can tell a bit of TLC went into remodeling this hotel. It’s very clean and has more amenities than you need including a fully stocked snack bar and fridge. The room and bed are very comfortable. There’s also strong water pressure in the large handicap/elderly accessible shower. Across the street is Whole Foods and the highways are super close for fast transportation. I’d stay here again.

We had a reservation at Oakfield Hotel & Suites in Rochester, but unfortunately had to cancel last minute due to a flight change. I tried to cancel through the Choice Hotels app, but it was already past the cancellation window - looked like we were going to be charged for the full stay. I figured I’d try calling the hotel directly and left a voicemail explaining the situation, not really expecting anything. To my surprise, someone from the hotel actually called back. They listened, understood the situation, and kindly canceled the reservation without charging us. This kind of thoughtful, human response is exactly what separates good hotels from great ones. Even though we never made it through the front door, the way the staff handled this situation left a lasting impression. Based on this experience alone, I’ll definitely be staying here the next time we’re in town. Thank you, Oakfield team - you turned a travel hiccup into a moment of genuine appreciation.

Renovation réussie.

The property was clean and very convenient to stores and restaurants.. Our room was too small for two adults and a small child. Our bathroom was like a closet. There was the lobby open 24 hours with food and drinks available. we were able to switch our room to a suite which was lovely and provided plenty of space. we would stay again, but ask for the suite next time.

Convenient, clean, nicely renovated, friendly staff!

I liked how clean this place was. The front desk staff was friendly during check in. Bed was comfortable and I'm 5'2" and the bathroom and shower were fine by me.

The pillows are the fluffiest pillows I’ve ever slept on. Phenomenal experience from front desk agents accommodating to every single need, & the cleanliness of the room. Will be staying here exclusively from now on & will recommend to anyone, 11/10 experience!

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. It was very clean and new. The desk staff were really nice a well. I found it reasonably priced.

Property was vey clean, staff went out of their way to be helpful, location great. Bathroom sufficient but way to small.
